Early Life and Career

Roberto Baggio was born on February 18, 1967, in Caldogno, Italy. He began his professional career at the age of 16 with Vicenza Calcio. Baggio quickly rose through the ranks of Italian football, earning a move to Fiorentina in 1985.

International Success

Baggio made his debut for the Italian national team in 1988. He played in three World Cups, including the 1994 tournament where Italy finished as runners-up. Baggio scored 27 goals in 56 appearances for the national team, making him one of Italy's most decorated players.

Club Career

After leaving Fiorentina, Baggio played for several other top Italian clubs, including Juventus, AC Milan, and Inter Milan. He won the Serie A title twice with Juventus and the UEFA Cup with Inter Milan. Baggio is widely considered one of the greatest Italian footballers of all time.
